FI-8 Series - Automatic Double Sided Final Inspection AVI System

InScan FI-8 is a compact and high performance Semi/Fully automatic double sided AVI system for final inspection of PCB boards.

In contrast to the FI-6 Series, which does only single sided board inspection through one high resolution interline CCD sensors, the FI-8 Series system's design includes two high resolution interline CCD sensors which perform parallel image acquisition asynchronously. This enables dramatic cutback in board inspection time, which in turn leads to high system throughput.

In addition to the advantages of the FI-6 seires, the FI-8 series hardware architecture allows the customer to choose his preferred automation module: fully automatic, semi automatic or standalone. The architecture is very flexible and allows the user to upgrade the automation module at any given time, without the need to purchase a new system.

FI-6 Series - Manual Single Sided Final Inspection System

InScan FI-6 is a compact and high performance manual single sided AVI system for final inspection of PCB boards.
One advantage of this system is that the job set up is fast and easy. The setup is based on the golden board and not the CAD data which greatly simplifies the setup process. Additonally, the setup process is fast and intuitive and can be completed in less that an hour.

Also, FI-6 series inspects and processes a single side board size 250X300mm in less than 25 seconds. The state-of-the-art sensor used by the FI-6 system enables both ultra fast scan times and high image quality. The system's design also includes one high resolution CCD sensor which performs advanced image acquisition with high system throughput.

InScan FI-8/6 Series - Verification System

InScan FI-8 & FI-6 can also be connected to multiple online verification stations. Each station enables the user to verify and mark inspected defects in parallel to the inspection process. 
The FI-8/6 system can be connected to multiple verification systems depending on the throughput. Another advantage of the verification system is that it is specially designed for operator's convenience and speed of operation. The large defect display, defect classification make up a friendly user interface. 

One of the biggest advantage of this system is that the operator's activites and production data is collected in a central database. The system analyzes this data and allows users to view real time reports on QC status, production trends and throughput.
